Apartment Review for Regents La Jolla

Renters and Potential owners be very aware of what you are getting into. What you see on the outside is NOT what you will get. Buying or Renting here will be one of the biggest mistakes you will ever make. The noise in this complex is horrible. They have allowed huge dogs here and they ignore multiple complaints about dogs being left on the balconies barking all morning and all night. The security guards do absolutely nothing. <P>
The resident manager is worthless and they take no responsiblity for any problems or decisons being made with the HOA. The HOA team are a bunch of power monger women who have major attitudes and major bitchy defensive attitudes. What happended to customer service. They need to stop the property as a class A operation when it is clearly classless. The carpets in the hallways are disgusting, they spent millions of dollars on flowering the complex to cover up all the other flaws here. There are constantly water pipes bursting and the water is turned off at least 1-2 times per month for floods in the garage. They have taken away every amenity we had when we moved in, passes to the JCC, newspaper, carts for groceries, rights to use community areas without a ridiculous fee. The list goes on and on and on. The noise in the complex is horriffic. You either get woken up at 6 or 7 in the am with barking loud dogs, screaming babies or maintence rolling their carts around the cement areas, or you cant sleep at night from all the college parties on the balconies, in the pool areas and the dogs that are left on the balconies all day and night. <P>
Trust us, buying here or renting here will be the biggest mistake of your life! <P>
