Apartment Review for Woodside Apartments

Renters Beware! This place is horrible. You play russian roulette when you rent here. The long timers are those who don't CARE about management or the lack of maintenance. It's likely you could end up renting an apartment next door to one of the many families that have 3 or more kids, some of which have 5 kids and sometimes 3 or 4 adults living in them.
Sure, everyone signs a lease when they move in stating the rules and regs. BUT---if you are friends with Troy or his girlfriend, those rules don't apply. And heaven help you should an issue come up where you need assistance from management. And their security guard. Let's just say that they may have a security guard, but he's pretty much worthless and no where to be found usually when cars are being broken into or tires are being slashed.
Also---Sharon, the 'manager' is a very unrealistic woman who should have retired 20 years ago. She will argue with you about the most ridiculous issues and attempt to make you the one who is wrong. The carpets are a mess, the plumbing bursts on a regular basis, and not to mention the appliances in the kitchen are ancient. The air conditioner barely keeps the living room cool and get used to $150+ electricity bills in the summer. The kids---well, are out of control.
By the way, the tenants sign a lease stating that they will supervise their kids. What a joke. Kids around here tear up or steal items off porches, terrorize anyone walking on the sidewalks with their bikes and scooters, use the stairwells as benches. And did I mention the partying that goes on here?
RENTERS BEWARE. Take your money elsewhere. The rents start at $1000+ a month here. It's NOT WORTH IT---unless you are like the long timers who don't care about the standards in which they live.
