This building is not what it appears. The new management team is incompetent and lazy. They screw up the monthly rental statements and the pool and jacuzzi are sometimes left with dirt and grim in them for days. On two seperate occasions I have stepped into the jacuzzi to find a rat inside. One of the big selling points for these condos was the washer/dryer combo in every unit. These machines are so tiny you can maybe wash a pair of socks and then hang them dry because the "dryer" part has NEVER worked. This is a common complaint from many of the tenants. More importantly we are on Skid Row. The building right behind LTL is being demolished and there will probably be more construction to come as something else goes up in its place. This is a terrible, dangerous neighborhood. The last time a group of us tried to walk into Little Tokyo after dark to eat dinner we had to scurry around a fist fight that broke out in the middle of San Pedro street right in front of the lofts that involved about eight men. Over the past six months the area seems to have gotten worse and with another homeless shelter opening next door... You are really trapped in the lofts unless you get in your car and drive to a better area of downtown.
