Even before the ink was dry on the lease, the leasing company failed to have apartment ready for living and allowed my roommate and I to sleep in another unit -- a "more presentable" one -- that was cluttered with debris and a trash. Over the next 12 months, we were subjected to a non-stop roach infestation, a lack of parking spaces, phantom last-minute inspections, an extremely unprofessional attitude from the leasing office manager (four-letter words are his calling card), empty promises to make repairs and, finally, trumped-up "cleaning" charges to illegally retain a portion of the security deposit. In all my life, I have never been exposed to the kind of unrelenting negligance on behalf of a landlord that I experienced at William Holdings. I am urging readers of this web site to please stay away from living in any properties managed by William Holdings. At some point, karma will serve this company a major payback on behalf of everyone who has ever signed a lease with this seriously unscrupulous company. Lord, have mercy on those who do.
