Review for Barrington Kemp Apartments

management is TERRIBLE ... probably the worst aspect of this building ... they will enter your apartment with no prior notice, citing some dubious "inspection", with complete disregard for privacy

the property manager also likes to solicit and proselytize, such as health products and other various religious materials

despite numerous requests, the property manager refuses to give us receipts for rent payment, going so far as arguing our reason for a receipt and literally shutting the door in our faces

many tenants have had their vehicles broken into, damaging the vehicles in the process, and their belongings stolen, and management will offer us no increased security, telling us that they "hope you have insurance" ... homeless will also periodically squat for days in the parking garage and urinate in the corners

we have stove burners that don't work well, and when they came to repair them, replaced the wrong burner and refused to recognize any further problem with the stove ... we also have a gas-powered fireplace in our unit, and they came in one time and "fixed" the gas so that all it does now is burn a weak blue flame

overall it's been a bad experience
