Review for Bel Air Vista Apartments

Wow, all the qualities were great once upon a time - which is why I moved here - new building (about a year old at the time I moved in), pet friendly, gated parking, and a really friendly office manager. Since the time our new office manager moved in, things have really taken a turn for the worse. The rules started changing immediately. We no longer had free "guest" parking spots, the rent was raised (which was already quite a bit to begin with seeing as it is a newer building), pet rent jumped from $25 to $75, as well as the fact that they are no longer accepting new pets into the building.

My initial reaction was, "this lady hates pets and she is driving everyone away." Again, this is one of the perks to why I moved here in the first place. Easy to work with and accepts ANY size pets. Most apartments who allow pets aren't this easy going. It just seems to me that she is pushing the matter to get the pets out and not accept any new ones.

Just today I took my dogs out, the manager was out side as well and I was pretty much told my dog can't pee outside anymore. I had to go upstairs and get a cup of water to rinse it down the drain. This is getting quite ridiculous.

Besides the pet issue, the people rent is another matter. They raised our rent a few months ago. We are competing with the "Luxury Apartments" who have gyms, pools, and tennis courts however we have none of these. We have a roof-top patio with a grill. Hardly makes up for the amount.

The location is decent however we face Sepulveda and the 405. Quite noisy in my opinion. Not a day goes by where there is not a loud motorcycle, screeching tires, or an accident outside my window.

All in all a quite less than mediocre experience!
