Review for Park Labrea Apartments

The day my roomate and I signed our lease a man in the office looked at us and said, "Don't move in here. You're going to regret it!". At the time we just thought he was some crazy old man, but dear god did he end up being right.
I have two roomates and we live in a garden home. We were happy as clams the first few months here, neighbors were a little crazy and rent was a little high, but we were ok with it. Then after a few months we starting hearing scratching noises coming from our ceiling. They became so severe that they were waking us up at night and preventing us from getting any sleep. What was it? A rat? Mouse? Squirrel? Raccoon even?
After SEVERAL phone calls, PLB maitenance finally set a trap in our ceiling. As our next door neighbor saw the man leave, she said "Oh, you guys are hearing the scratching!" She then went on to explain that she was moved next door to us from a different unit in PLB. Her rat problem in her previous unit was so intense that they decided to up and move her family and her becuase the rats weren't going anywhere. She shared some lovely memories with us about coming home to find rats the size of a small cat in her water heater closet, and even on one occasion in her cupboard eating her unperishables. Charming.
One rat was caught with the trap they set in our ceiling, but the problem is still going on and they've decided to ignore us. My roomates have each suffered from FLEA BITES (we don't have any animals) that we can only assume were carried in by the rats. We have seen them scurry past our vents, and I'm fairly certain one day we'll come home from work to find Ratzilla sitting on our couch.
In addition to our wonderful rodent problem, they have also made several clarical errors on our rent that we were somehow held responsible for.

BOTTOM LINE if you want to spend $3000 a month to live amongst rats and the bugs they carry, as well as deal with a simply unpleasant staff, by all means, please do move in.
