Review for Park Labrea Apartments

The Demo tour of the neighborhood was great, I signed up for a two bedroom for almost $2k a month.

Had issues with peeling lead base paint, plumbing, doors that do not shut correctly, broken screen doors. I have never moved in an apartment where I had to check each door to see if they are operational but no big deal since it's a simple repair. The simple repair took months and I still have a broken screen door. They are quick to come out but actual fix is delayed for weeks. My neighbor is retired and have told me horror stories about the maintenance company and how I have to stay on them and call on a regular basis to get it fixed.

I do not have the time for this, when things break the repair should be completed without multiple calls. If I did not work and stayed home, sure I would have time for this.

Car was broken into this week and the gate has been broken for weeks. They still do not patrol that area and the gate is not fully operational. It closes but there is a problem where it could open without the opener. Many of the tenants have called this in but nothing is being done.
