We've lived her a little over a year and a half now and for the most part, it's been a pretty good experience. The biggest problem is that while you can't hear your left-right neighbors, you can hear your upstairs neighbors--and if they're attending the Art Institute next door, they're likely partying at 3am on a Sunday night. The good news is, the security on site is awesome and if you complain, they'll throw down. So far they've ejected two tenants who didn't understand that 3am on Sunday was not an ideal time to repeat party.

Does this make me an ***? Maybe, but we pay a lot of money to live here and we have jobs that require us to be coherent at work, Monday-Friday. So yeah, pre-10pm, rock out until you pass out, after 10, STFU.

Secondly, they allow pets, but they charge you a pet deposit + $50/month to have 'em. While I understand the pet deposit, why do I have to pay a monthly? I HAVE CONCRETE FLOORS, it's not like they're gonna rip that **** up and require a recarpeting. Whatever. While we try to be decent pet owners, we have an old dog that has bladder issues, so she doesn't always make it to the pet area. We do try to wash off the urine if she goes, but, you know, ***** gotta pee and I can't stop nature.

That said, we do pick up after our dogs, but many others do not. NOHO Lofts even provides baggies (how thoughtful), so you'd think people'd be all considerate n' ****, but nooooo (not so thoughtful). Jerks.

All-in-all, we're happy--although if they decide to put a Gym in place of the How's Market that used to be here, I'm gonna be ******! Seriously, how many **** gyms do we need in NOHO? WTF, people, gimme a **** supermarket. Rumour is, Trader Joe's is going in, but who knows. I'd be happy with something not filled with meatheads (so maybe Whole Foods is out, too).

I've lived in cheaper places, and they've sucked. We pay a lot for a 750 sq/ft cube, but **** if it isn't a nice concrete cube. We've seen no drug dealers here, had no security issues (and I like to dress pretty slutty), and all-in-all, the staff is pretty helpful. Couple of 'em are real cute, too. I'd hit that.

Oh yeah, parking's pretty cool. Especially since they started towing students who snuck in to park without paying. HA! Dumbasses.

Considering the rest of NOHO is a **** ghetto, this place is pretty swank. Good times.

Almost perfect. A clean, safe, quiet environment with a pleasant staff in an ideal location.
There are older reviews on this apartment complex that state that safety is an issue, however we have never had any problems or felt unsafe. Everything is very well lit throughout the night and they have security guards riding through the halls and parking deck, all of whom are very friendly and attentive.
Parking is ample, altough they only give one parking space per unit and sometimes charge for additional spaces. But there is plenty of free guest parking if you have a second car.
The appearance of the complex is beautiful with lots of plants in the courtyard and they really take care to keep things looking nice by cleaning the walkways and repainting often. The only problem is the lack of enforcement for cleaning up after dogs in the dog run, and some tenants with small dogs allow their pet to go to the bathroom in the walkways.
The office staff are very friendly, particularly Nathan.
In our experince, maintenance has been very quick to repair anything that comes up (light bulbs, washer).
The unit was very well cleaned and in great condition when we moved in despite a couple of stains on the floor from the previous tenant.
We have never had any issue with noise level. Never heard a neighbor except when the upstairs neighbor was moving in.
Additional pluses - beautiful spacious lofts that you can do nearly anything with, they allow big dogs, washer and dryer in unit, very few children/teens in the complex, walking distance to Art Institue, grocery stores, metro, bars, restaurants, shops, salons, and theaters.

The pool and gym are top notch. My apartment faces the street which can be noisy at times, but is really private. The people are really cool. It's kinda pricey, but not as expensive as some nearby. They take dogs which is hugely important. Overall, not too bad at all.
