Sutter's Mill Apartments lie just a couple miles east of the Santa Ana River. The apartments are at the center of many different shopping centers and locations for outdoor activities. Adjacent to the complex is Super Sports Golf & Rec Center, along with a CVS Pharmacy and Sears Optical. Within a two-mile radius there is a Jo-Ann Fabric store, Tuskatella Shopping Center, and Villa Park Town Center. One block north is a McDonald's, and a little over a mile east is Lutheran High School. Taft Elementary School is close for any tenants with children who attend. Surrounding parks include Shaffer, Eisenhower, and Olive Hills Park. Owning a car is not particularly necessary if you live in Orange County apartments as the area is serviced by the Orange County Transportation Authority. With this system you will have access to the bus network, taxicabs and three lines of commuter rail service. These three modes of transportation are enough to get you in and around the county but you can always still use a car if you already have one.

For those who are interested in shopping you will want to look for an Orange County apt listing that shows available apartments in and around Fashion Island and Newport Center. These aren’t the only places you can shop till you drop though as there are a number of major shopping malls in all the cities including the South Coast Plaza which can be found in Costa Mesa among others.
