This place sucks! I live there for about 3 yrs... I really do not like to move so I somehow dealt with the issues.
First, you get to see a really nice model apartment giving you a false expectation. I never saw the actual place. The place had cracks on the walls and water stains on the ceiling. The white paint from the cabinets was peeling off. Popcorn ceiling dirty as hell. Shower handle did not work. A stove older than my great grandma! I had to purchase my own stove because management would not replace it!
Parking sucks for visitors because you only get one assigned space. I often saw FOOT PRINTS on my flawless Nissan 300zx!! yes... human foot prints on my hood!! some dumb guy seems to enjoy walking on cars! The dents on my car cost me a bundle to repair. I complained many times and wanted management to pay for the damages. That never happened. The car next to me was broken into the first month the guy moved in. I had to get a car cover with a lock to protect my car.
They do have a security guard, but the only thing he guards is his sleep. Everyday I would find him sleeping in his car. One night the security guard told me and my friends that it was ok to park inside, He ended up towing my two of friends car the sme night he told us it was ok to park. No lie... I was there. What a jerk! This really pissed me off!
It is always noisy there. Kids are running a muck day by day w/no supervision! I really did not mind the noise because this gave me the opportunity to watch movies and bump my stereo system LOUD. What sucks it the train passing by late at night or at the crack of dawn. There are parties going on all the time not to mention the pot heads!
Maintenance sucks. They take forever to answer your work order. On top, they don't know anything about fixing crap. When I moved in& I complained about the cabinets peeling off, the cracks and stains on the wall and ceiling. It took about 6 months to repaint the place!
Management likes to take their sweet time. The manager and staff never follow up on anything, They only put you aside and forget about you. The leasing agents always would apologize and state that they forgot "oh Im so sorry, I forgot..." They sure don' forget to call you to collect the rent. They are only good at charging you for their mistakes. Every time the lease was up, the rent gets higher!
They call themselves Luxury Apartments... They are far from luxury! They are way overpriced for what they offer. If you like the train waking you up in the middle of the night, loud noise all the time, if you like a run down apartment, If you like to spend hours looking for parking, if you want for your car to get vandalized... the go right ahead and move in...
