Review for Highlander Pointe Apartments

I've lived here for 3 years and it was so bad the last year. Water would always shut off on short notice so don't be surprised when you wake up and can't even get ready to go anywhere!

They started to renovate other apartments and offered free upgrades to my apartment. I said I would have to delay it to the summer when I won't be there as often so that their construction does not disturb me. When summer came around and I asked for it several times, they always said they were too busy to upgrade my apt! Why offer when they can't even implement it?

Most importantly, when I moved out I received my security more than a month later. Real estate law says landlord has 21 days after the tenant moved out to return unused portions of security deposit. My security deposit is $500 and they took $200 from me even though I spent a whole day cleaning every part of the apt. They are also required to send itemized list and copy of receipts to show what they used the $200 on. Received the list but no receipts. They are a bunch of liars.

We only have one parking space for 2 people. The manager stole our parking spot while we were away. Apparently, they really enforce parking here. Which means your car gets towed if it isn't park in its designated area. Should have towed that car..

Everything about this place just plain sucks.
