Apartment Reviews for The Winsted - Rocklin

My fiance and I lived at The Winsted for a year and a half and we enjoyed our time there. The staff was always helpful and anytime we had a maintenance issue it was resolved within a day or two. The grounds were always clean and well kept, parking was never an issue, and we always felt safe, even to take the trash out in the middle of the night. The only thing that bothered us was the way they calculated our deposit when we moved out. Our apartment was spotless and yet somehow we ended up oweing. My advice to anyone moving out is to do a walk through and get in writing exactly what will be an issue and possibly deducted for. Overall we were happy to call The Winsted home and would reccomend it to anyone.

I have never writen a review on an apartment I have lived in before, but I have to say that the Winstead Apts are great. I have had a broken dryer (fixed same day while I was at work), Mold in a closet (Minor damage, cleaned and fixed the next day). THough my insurance company would not replace damaged items, the apts cleaned my carpet through out my apartment, which made me feel a little better. Also since I have lived there 10 mo. ago, I have attended a Singles Valentine Party, 2 BBQ's, free breakfast served at the front gate on my way to work, Played on their summer softball leauge and developed many friendships with the girls in the office. My neighbors are friendly, the grounds are well kept, tenant improvements are always going on while I am at work, such as, landscape, spraywashing and painting etc.. Now really, the rent is high and I have found a couple places cheaper in the area, but for a couple hundread dollars less I would have to give up too much (Including my exclusive bath tub which has been my real sanctuary). So there you have it, so thanks to Kirsten, Lea, and Jen for working so hard to figure out what the tendants want and need. <P>
