Yes, bad things happen to good people everywhere, even apartment communities. Look, if you are going to stop going to malls, schools, banks, stores, driving down the freeway, etc. then you are right, you should not live at Homecoming. If you want to live in the real world, Homecoming is a good choice. They have nice apartments, great resident activities, friendly people and it is close to everything (shopping, the airport, downtown).
