Review for Fairlake Apartments

After living here several months, they still hadnt given us a gate code or pass key, then decided to start shutting the gates all of the sudden. Large amounts of tennants were locked out of their apt. complex and upset, including us. It took us 2 months to finally get a pass key to get in the back entrance and their excuse was "People arent turning them in so we cant give them back out". Well then make copies damn it, we pay alot of money to live here! They lie to get you to sign your contract so they get their commission and then get all pissed off or rude when you complain about things that need to be done. Maintenence is slow, and rarely finishes the job. There are things in our apt. that still have yet to be fixed from the move in inspection months ago! We've been inconvenienced several times by these people screwing around and not fixing things right and they wont even compensate us for it through a proper rental reduction. This management, this complex, and the people that run it are the most rude, inconsiderate, lying people I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with in my whole life. The laundry mats are always filthy and rarely run, our cabinets and drawers were painted shut and the carpet hadnt even been cleaned when we moved in, they came a week later after all of our stuff was moved in and expected us to move it all around to accomidate them! If I could break my lease without repercussions, I would leave! Please do not rent from these people!
