I lived in Fairlake for 71/2 years. things were really very good. Maintenance was responsive, someone policed the grounds every morning and staff was polite. Security was great. The worst problems were parking and the apartments were over priced. About 2 years after we moved in the property was sold, and new management came in. Things started to go down hill. There was new management every year or so, and each was worse than the one before. Rents went up, service went down. Now it is more family friendly. While kids are a pain, they are better than fraternities. They are OK, if your not looking for "Luxury Apartments." We left only because it was to expensive.
