Aside from the literal gang of children, the trashy subsidized housing tennants, the vagabonds, the break-ins, and the noise, Rivercrest management will try to cheat you and rob you blind.
When I moved in, the sinks had a thin coat of latex house paint to make them look good, the walls were dirty, and there was the heavy odor of curry and cigarette smoke permeating the apartment. After 4 months of airing it out every moment I was home (and fearing home invasion for having my porch doors open) and using bottle after bottle of Fabreeze, the smell finally started to dissipate - a little.
I was there for a year, then moved out... my advice to you is to TAKE PICTURES when you move out. They will charge you for painting, for cleaning, and for anything else they can foist off on you. You have to battle this by taking pictures when you move out or you will be screwed. You should just kiss your deposit goodbye now. You probably won't see it unless you sue them.
