http://www.news10.net/storyfull1.asp?id=8810 Violent Burglar Strikes Natomas Apartment Complex Tenants of a Sacramento area apartment complex have been the victims of five burglaries, a physical assault and a rape. Now police are asking for the public's help. The burglaries occurred at the Tamaron Ranch Apartments on West El Camino Road in the South Natomas area of Sacramento. The first reported burglary took place on November 24, the day before Thanksgiving. Since then, there have been four more incidents. The November 24 and 26 burglaries were committed during the daytime. Incidents on November 30, December 3 and 13 took place overnight. In the December 3 case, a woman discovered a man hiding in her closet when she returned home after midnight. He punched her and ran off. The December 13 incident involved also involved a sexual assault. A female tenant awoke to find someone holding a pillow over her face while assaulting her. Police investigators do not know if the perpetrator lives in the housing complex or comes through perimeter gates. Based on descriptions from the victims, Sacramento police believe there are one or possibly two suspects. They are described as dark complected males between 22 and 35 years old, wearing a hooded sweatshirts, dark sweatpants and dark beanie caps. Some Tamaron Ridge residents are upset that multiple incidents have occurred without their knowing about them. "I think that they should notify people, especially with, you know, it's not just one occurrence," said Dan Amato. "When more than one happens in the area, you figure they would let you know."
