Review Title:   Decent Place For Students

Woodlake Village looks like it was pretty expensive about 20 years ago. Now it looks like that same place...only rundown and on a budget. There are 4 pools, a fitness room, clubhouse, and hot tub, they are all clean and usable but just sort of well, old and shabby. There was a lot of landscaping done in the old days and it still it adds a nice touch to the place. Our area of the complex has been decently quiet, clean, and crime-free in the 6 months we've been here. Our apartment had new kitchen cabinets and appliances when we moved in. It's small but it was clean and freshly painted, we haven't had any problems with bugs or mold or anything. There are normal, everyday noises like people talking and kids playing but there are no all night parties. I don't really know much about the people in the office, the leasing process seemed smooth and professional though. The Sac State shuttle stops right out front and the rent is affordable. It's just a older, kinda rundown place with lots of poor people and students. For Sac State students looking for somewhere that's close to school and affordable, you should have no problem here, just don't expect it to be a luxury hotel.
