Apartment Review for Fairlake

I found this website prior to moving to fairlake and thought that it was probably all the disgrunttled tenants that probably got evicted. I was wrong in that last weel my car has been broken into twice. That's three now in the last three times in three months. I have filed incident reports and police reports and still nothing has been done to try and help deter the high crime in the area. The apartments great security is shared between "sister properties" (meaning they are not always onsite- even if they tell you they are). The apartment maintainence staff is so overworked that it takes forvever to get anything done- that is if they do it. When we moved in we were supposed to have new carpet (the apartment finally offered to change the carpet after looking at it again- but we would have to move our stuff over a two day period back and forth through the apartment-not gonna happen) This complex is horrible- everytime I see someone signing a lease I want to run up to them and tell them to run the other way <P>
