Apartment Review for Harbor Oaks

Many young professionals live here and work in downtown Sacramento. The place has a fake lake which is nice to look at. The office decided to close one of the main perks of living in the place, the gym, for an extended period of time. They keep delaying the end date of the renovations. They have changed what used to be an upstairs gym into a conference room (of course, this is more for management needs than it is for the residents because what residents would actually use this over a nicer gym upstairs). Now, they are starting to make parking for guests even more difficult too by requiring a pass. Thus, if I had two friends drive in from out of town on a given night, they won't be able to come in and both park their cars. Plus, I'll have to go outside and give them the permit to put into their car. Considering we are not in the most urban area, is this really all necessary? Overall, the price just isn't worth it and you're better off in a place in midtown or downtown where it's cheaper, and the living space is probably larger with hardwood floors. <P>
