Apartment Review for Harbor Oaks

Read through the other reviews and have to disagree. The area is not safe. During the last year, there have been a couple of assaults, rapes, Gateway Oaks is used as a drag strip, the office complexes near by have been broken into and police officers have had chases with one almost resulting in the police dogs being released. As for craftsmanship, not so good. The carpet is unraveling in doorways. Constantly have to clean anything I get out of the kitchen cabinets because of paint chips, drawer chips, etc constantly showering down from the very cheap cabinets. Marble countertops are pretty but I'd rather they spent the money on better cabinets. Pests are a huge problem - they only offer harsh chemical treatments for control. There are gaps around the exterior doors. All is all the worst apartment I've ever lived in and by far not the cheapest. For the price I would have expected more.
