Apartment Review for Rivercrest Village Apartments

I moved in here May of 04 and let me tell you I have nothing good to say about this place. For one when i moved in here everything was available to the tenents like the weight room, club house, pools, etc and now none of it is available. They say the trying to make this place more livable and they been remodeling for over a year now. Not to mention the construction workers are all felons and dirty border hoppers. Other then the loud noise, cars being broken into, no appliance working correctly and water heaters not even heating, this place SUCKS. When i moved in the carpet was all tore up and stained. Walls were patched and all the kitchen drawers are broke. Ice makers dont work, toliet came off the ground and not to mention this place has nothing to offer. MY covered parking is some families non op car repairing stall. I have told management tons of times that this was going on. DO they care **** NO!! Maintence doesnt even show up to your door when you put in a work order till like a month later when you end up fixing the problem yourself. I wasnt a handyman when i moved in here but now im like a jounreyman carpenter. This place is saying that they have HIGHER standards now. Well the people they move in here look like they came out of a homeless shelter. You gotta love it when basketball hoops are bent, when the hot tub isnt hot, and the amenities are shut down for over a year. 99 bucks will move you in but it will take you over a grand to move you out. Management sucks.. the apartment manager looks horrible and they call this higher standards????? The leasing agents work there for free rent. They dont care about your concerns and on top of that they do all kinds of favors to move there friends in. Please look else where even if your looking for something closer to college. A 20 minute ride will save you not only your car but give you a piece of mind. Oh yeah and how are they going to call this Rivercrest when we dont have a river?? This place is broke down and poor. Come see so for yourself.
