I have been living here at Southwood for about 2 years and really enjoy it. Yes, there have been times when maintenance was not as fast as I would like in responding, but they have a new manager who seems to be making a difference. The area is quiet, there is lots of shade and trees, and I really like the kitchen - that's my favorite part. For me, this is a great place to live. I hope it only gets better.

These townhomes are okay but overpriced. You could rent a 3 bdrm house in this area for the same price, (or less.) Also, the appliences here are mostly very old. As soon as we moved in, our dishwasher went out. They fixed it right away, but when winter hit our heater stopped working entirely. We had to go 6 nights without heat! Did they make any compen$ation for the inconvenience? No. (Also, the fireplace is VERY drafty with no way to seal it off.) It's nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit, but it would be even nicer if they worked, (the washer is very old and only has one working setting.) Like I said, it's "okay" here, but not the best!
