Apartment Review for The Falls At Arden

For some reason the heater had to blow cold air before it could produce hot air. This made my electric bill rediculous in the winter. Staff said; "the heaters are old and that's just the way it is."
It's been almost two months since I moved out and I still haven't recieved my security deposit back despite the summary notice I recieved saying I was entitled to $275 of $340. I've asked management several times about it and they referred me to a company in Hollywood title BlackHawk who is no longer returning my calls.
The parking situation was not only far from my apartment, in addition to that the sprinklers were way too powerful causing serious damage to the paint on the front of my new car. By the way, I was paying $25.00 a month extra for a covered parking spot; a complete waste of money. My car would get soaked every night.
The noise was so unbearable at night that I had to call security every other night to kick the drunk people out of the pool. Don't even think about leaving your windows open in the summer time. You will never get any sleep. I heard shots fired outside my studio one night. Helicopters circle the area at least twice a month, usually to arrest someone. I know this because they say things on the loud speaker like "Get the **** down now!" or they give the description of the person they're chasing. It's usually around 1:00am and usually goes on for 30 minutes of so. The locks on the pool gates are broken, so the pool is open to everyone and their ghetto mothers.
The clubhouse has the most inconvenient hours imaginable and they close quite often during regular business hours because they are really short staffed and they have to give tours for new tennants. They close everyday at 6:00pm. It's also closed all day Sunday and only open until 4:00pm on Saturday. I don't know what kind of working person or student can watch a movie, play pool or use the computer room before 6:00pm.
Management is **** poor. They were nice when I first moved in, but then became very rude whenever I came to them with a problem. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. For how much they charge, this place is such a ripoff.

This place is so bad. The management is never there during the office hours. The gate never works . the club house closes at 5pm and is not open on Sundays. The mail boxes got broken into so we had to deal with identity theft. All sorts of shady people moving in and they are going through a conversion even though construction hasn't started so they are restricting axcess to the pool gym and club house so they can keep it for when people purchase. I can not stress enough that the Management is never there and really don't care to help you. Don't move here unless it is temporary. My car got broken into along with a lot of other people. Not safe to walk around at night.
