I was looking at this website looking for another reason, but just looked up the reviews here.
I like it here. It's in walkable distance to the library, Starbucks, Ikea, Lowes, a couple nice restaurants. It's an easy drive to the gym, a pharmacy, and a grocery store. It's centrally ls centrally located, so everything is reachable, because the highway is close by. My family and friends are really impressed with this place. They love to stay over because it has a nice pool and hottub. I like the gym, because it is always cool in there.
The things that aren't good:
The business center is filled with computers that are too slow and don't work. Also they put a security system inside them where you can't even reach your Yahoo mail, for instance. Very difficult to use the computers.
Parking after 1pm is difficult. But I have always found parking. I just have to walk aqbout 4 blocks. For me, this isn't a big deal. But I have seen residents hogging a couple spots so as to protect their new vehicles. Still, I have managed to find a spot. It's just far away.
You will get dings in your car. And there is noise from the train if you're near the train section. There is noise from traffic too in some sections, esp during the day as Mission Valley is a big shopping center. But this is expected when you live in a big city. So for me, not a big deal. Occassional heavy traffic during Christmas and during football games and concerts because of stadium, but for me I like the activity and being in the middle of it all.
Occassionally the management hasn't responded in a nice way to me, maybe 20% of the time. But it is not too bad. Maintenance will come by. Very nice maintenance guys. They don't always get it done the first time, but they try very hard. I think theyre nice and do a good job. The landscaping is often pretty, esp in the spring. They plant a lot of flowers. I see the maintenance guys around working hard on upkeep.
My favorite part living here is the good location, the shops, and I also like the pool. Btw, sometimes I see people smoking near the pool. I wish they wouldn't do that.
Overall, a nice place to live for the quiet professional. Not good for families or college kids. It's a quiet community.
