the apartments are actually really spacious and have nice kitchens, washer and dryer, etc. So if you're main concern is convenience, this place is good. can't get closer to a grocery store/blockbuster/bookstore and have a gym with free classes. HOWEVER, saying the management is bad is an understatement. There is so much turn-around in that office that you never know who you're talking to. most of the time they look at you as if you've just stepped into their private club and it's a huge inconvenience for them to do something for you...heaven forbid they actually do their jobs. You get the run-around a lot! When renegotiating a lease, if you don't get the answer you want the first time just come back an hour later. We actually got ample parking for both of our cars on account of a little negotiation by the previous tenant in our apartment...apparently costa verde has a contract with the city to say they can't charge for parking so any place that has two bedrooms has to have two parking spaces....we only have one bedroom but two parking spaces. With that said, we'd rather park our cars next to a chop shop in TJ...our cars have been broken into so many times. Can't help that one of them is a Jeep- so after they finished stealing everything of any value (including the entire ashtray), they just started vandalizing it. Don't count on anyone helping. They don't give a crap. If you are unfortunate enough to live near a hot tub, it's a popular place for drunken college students at 3am...and security rarely does anything about this. I didn't know anyone else had a problem with silverfish before but apparently it's common, gross. Every problem we have with this place could be fixed by competent staff, which makes it hard to leave b/c really the place is not so bad on its own. I like our apartment and the location, I just wish the management would at least pretend they want to help us.
