I have lived in Costa Verde for about a year and a half, and it has been nothing but problems since. First my water bills were out of control, and the management gave me the run around and I had to explain my problem to 3 different people before I was told they couldn't help me and I had to call the water company. Then the parking situation changed and instead of everyone and their guests parking anywhere, everyone has assigned parking and if you ever want guests over they have to search for parking in the ridiculously small guest parking area and will most likely end up on the street. There was never a shortage of parking spaces before, so I think it is crazy that we pay so much to live here and now our guests are inconvenienced when visiting us. Maintanence is another issue here...don't go looking to management to help you here either. There's a seperate number you call if you need something fixed, and hope you don't have an urgent problem because who knows when they're gonna show up to help you - you just leave a mesage stating your problem on an automated machine. My tub has nearly overflowed because of a backed-up pipe in the building, and if I hadn't kept an eye on it and emptied it out as it filled I would have had a flood in my apartment. It took 3 days for them to finally respond and fix it. If your looking for a quiet place to live, this may not be the place for you. There are a lot of college students here and unless you live on the top floor you will have to listen to the person above you walking around. Overall, the management staff here is messy, unorganized, lazy, and unhelpful beyond the point of getting your signature on the leasing agreement. The environment is ok if you don't mind having a lot of college students around. The apartments themselves are great, but it doesn't really feel like your coming home at the end of the day because the place is so much like a hotel. In my opinion, the rent is too high for what you get...I would rather pay $100 more and get a competent management staff who will help me when their apartments are falling apart!
