This place is absolutly horrible, the drug problem here is out of control they openly sell and use drugs out of the garages here at all hours of the day, management does not seem to care as long as the rent is payed. they pass by these transactions on a daily basis and pay no mind to what is going on and im talking the cheap security patrols to mantinace workers all the way to the management. parking is also not so good, all though garages are provided the chain link fence seperating the garage is no garantee for the saftey of your auto considering a number of these garages act as party hangouts for drug addicts/dealers. outside parking is poorly lighted so you just cant win, it is not uncommen to see broken car glass in the parking areas. there are people who dont live here who walk around all day/night with backpacks looking for drugs, some of them take up temporaryresidence in the garages. if you live in a back unit and there is a 50/50 chance that you will, you will have the oppertunity to hear the homeless ramble through the trash dumpsters at all hours of the night and day. I hope you are not a light sleeper. speaking of sleep dont plan on getting any of that in these apts...... the noise level here is outrageous between the crack addicts fighting over what ever it is they fight over and the parties lasting up until four thirty in the morning..well im sure you get my drift. bottom line is that the current management has no control over the tennents and will allow any one to live here regardless of their credability. there are other apartments in SD that offer much more than hllside for the price they ask. it is my opinion that this place should be leveled to the ground and send a majorityof the tennents and other wandering persons to prison or rehab.
