I lived here for two years. Very convenient for those who work or study at UCSD. The complex is OK. Appartments have the most common problem of "hearing your neighbours" through the walls. On weenkend nights it could be very noisy.
Management sometime sucks! As usual they are very nice when you rent. I had a very bad experience during the check out phase. I was charged about $450 for carpet replacement. The carpet was defective, I had reported it two months after I checked in, unfortunately nobody put that in the file, and I did not follow up to make sute that it was in the records. Of course, at the end they accused me of lying and ruining their "new" carpet.
If you rent make sure even a tiny bit of information and/or notice is in writing before they screw you off as well.
