That's what my roommates and I nicknamed the place. We lived downstairs from an older couple who were always calling the management with noise complaints. We were students at the time, and the noise complaints came in while we were studying for finals!! I told the woman that unless they could hear the pages turning when we were studying, it must've been someone other than us. The woman who lived upstairs would glare at us whenever she walked by...glare at the apartment! Then, of all things, they replaced the carpet in the apartment above ours. I had insomnia at the time, the kind where I wouldn't be able to fall asleep until 8am and then I could sleep all day. Well, so much for that! There was hammering and banging and we received absolutely no notice that this would be done. I only knew what was happening because I called to file a noise complaint and they pretty much told me to suck it up.

Then there was the girl who lived next door. I could recite word for word some of her arguments with her boyfriend. I heard very clearly the night she came home way too drunk and had to leap out of bed, run to the bathroom, and throw up. The walkways are right outside the windows and as a result I have 3 different men stand outside, staring in through any crack in the blinds they could find. Very creepy! So I asked security to patrol past my apartment more frequently to deter these peepers and because the girl next door was being stalked. They *never* patrolled. Never.

The only good thing about this place was the covered parking, the elevator, and the pool. That was it. Honestly, it was a place I can't believe I stayed in for as long as I did. It was a crappy place to live as a student and since I've been done with college, I've found less-expensive apartments that are millions of times better in terms of quality.
