My husband and I were not allowed to see the apartment that we would rent. Instead we were shown a model apartment and loved it. Of course on move in day we were greatly dissapointed. There were spiders everywhere, the appliances were old (from 1980). I had them trade the refrigerator right away because a rotting smell was coming from it, it was making strange loud noises, and it was rusted inside. We were also informed that we only got 1 parking space. There were parties until 3am, and the shower only had cold water in the mornings...I guess there is 1 water heater for large sections of the building. The oven on the stove did not work, and my requests to have it fixed were ignored. I had them come and spray twice in 7 months because all kinds of critters were living with me. Don't even think about being able to leave or come to the apartment complex when a game is going on at Qualcomm. There was a security guard that patroled the complex. Laundry facilities were available, but the dryers were always broken. The apartment came under new management 4/05. So far it sucks even more. I'm so glad that I only signed a 7 month lease
