I've lived here for nearly one year. We renewed our lease, but only b/c we were offered the same rental rate.

Pro's -- The apartment itself is probably one of the nices that I've ever lived in. The layout is wonderful and the kitchen is fabulous. There is a lot of storage space and I think they're made pretty well. The gym is also really, really nice - each machine has it's own TV. The machines are in kept up well too. The location is really nice - I can get anywhere in San Diego quickly from here plus I never have to travel to shop.

Con's -- The apartments are expensive - too expensive IMO, but they really don't charge more than the going rate in Mission Valley. The complex can get noisy, particularly b/c there are a lot of students living here. However, anytime you call the afterhours security, they normally respond fairly quickly and the noise is quietted down. The night time security guard is a really nice guy - and pretty good! Guest parking is hard to come by - there are very few open "guest" spots themselves and they are normally taken. Permits are available from the leasing office, but you have to give them a $50 deposit ... which I don't mind. I rather give them the deposit than be stuck with the sparse guest parking that's provided. My main complaint is the management b/c I find them to be uppity and rude. They are very unfriendly - even if you go in to ask a simple question, they seem to act like they haven't got the time to deal with you. I've gone in there before and no one has so much said hello to me much less asked what I needed. For the price I pay to live here, they should shape up in that department.

So, if you don't mind the rent and don't mind dealing with attitudes, it's worth it to live here.
