Review for Stonewood Garden Apartments

During the time my family and I lived there, at first it wasn't a bad place to live. New owners and management took over in 2003, and it went downhill from there. Maintenance calls took a long time to be answered. The management did all they could legally do to force the old-timers (people who had been there longer than 2 or 3 years), in order to uniformally raise the rent. Rent went way up, from $1250/mo. to $1650/mo. in the last 2 years we were there. Guest parking disappeared. The new management, upon taking over, forced out the assistant manager who had been there for the previous 2 years (they gave her a 30-day notice, with no reason given). Police cars used to come to the complex several times a week. I read the other reviews, and we definitely had our own roach problem as well (spraying did no good)
