My husband and I have been living here for the past 2.5 years. We were very happy with this place until recently. Within the last 2 months, my husband's and brother's cars both got broken into. In one case, they broke a window and stole EVERYTHING (including all the receipts for oil changes, snorkeling gear, swimming gear, maps). In the other case, they broke both door locks (driver side and passenger side), got in, stole nothing (because the car was cluttered with nothing valuable), and then short circuited the ignition (out of frustration?).
We feel highly violated and insecure in our building now. I think the security used to be better. Some guy would be roaming around throughout night, either sitting by the gate into the parking garage or driving around in a golf cart. We stopped seeing him about 2 months ago, and BOOM, we get hit by thieves.
Rethink your options if you choose to come here. If you do, make sure management is aware of your concerns and that they do something about it!
