Located just minutes away from downtown San Diego, Mira Monte is close to many great dining options, shopping, the beach, and many great hiking options, so there is basically something for anyone to do. Mira Monte’s property has well kept grounds, many amenities, as well as three different floor plans to choose from. Rent ranges from $1076-$1287. Some residents in the past have had an issue with security and parking, but others claim that they have never had that experience. Inquiries can be made during office hours of 9 AM to 6 PM Monday-Sunday.

I happened to stay in Mira Monte and this has been a very bad experience.
First we had people coming over late night and knocking my door soliciting donations.
We reported to the management and all they did was put a notice of No Soliciting.
Nothing more.The solicitors never stopped knocking the door though.
People hardly close the common entrance doors here letting unauthorized people enter the property.
The parking sucks.Most of the parking spots are small and there is no assigned parking.I had trouble parking my sedan every day.Sometimes it just so tough to enter your car because some other car has been parked so close.My car had dents because of reckless banging of other car doors into mine(also because of small parking lots).
The taps in the bathroom always had water that is either too hot or too cold.They could never fix it.
They charged us a $300 when we moved out.In our pre inspection for moving out ,we were told that the house is clean and we might probably need to pay $35 for carpet cleaning and may be $50 for general cleaning(typical expenses everyone pays while moving out).To my surprise they charged me $300.The management tries to steal the whole deposit.
The highway noise is always a nuisance.
One of my neighbor had white ants in his house.
Ridiculous.
Stay away from this place .

I am happy with my apt. and have been here for almost 5 years. The maintenance staff are efficient, friendly, and responsive to maintenance requests. I've had no problems with the management office. They do what they say they're going to do. I transitioned to a smaller apartment and the transfer went smoothly with no problems about the security deposit. I get off work at midnight, and feel safe to see the security serviceman there, in my lot, watching over things. He is courteous and encourages me to report any concerns I may have. I love the grounds; my only wish is they would keep the grass lawns up, and I was sad when they started cutting some of the trees down. This is the only place I've lived where there are no problems with ants!

This is a great apartment. I found it by chance while driving around the area. Quiet neighborhood. The management are doing a lot of improvement to the community and check out the unit interior!!!! They are newly furnished and looks great. <P>
There are plenty of parking space. I never had trouble finding a space. Great neighborhood too.. Close to the movie theater, shopping malls and restaurant. <P>

I don't see what all fuss is about. What's not to like about Mira Monte? The leasing and management team are very friendly and attentive. Maintenance requests are promptly completed and to my satisfaction. The property and grounds are clean and well maintained. Admittedly, parking can get crowded but each resident is guaranteed one parking. I've had guests come over to visit and they've always able to find street parking. Granted sometimes, it wasn't as close as they would have liked it to be but we all understand that parking can get crowded around here given the other nearby apartment complexes in close proximity. As for car break-ins or thefts, that stuff can happen anywhere and truly is out of anyone's control. <P>
I've had friends who have lived here in the past, and none of them had any negative experiences living here. I enjoy living here and will recommend others to live here as well. Anyone considering living at the Mira Monte should check it out for themselves rather than rely on any of the comments found on this or any other website. <P>
