Review for Montierra Apartments

I have lived here going on 7 months now. So far, the office staff has been very helpful and the maintenance guys are on the ball. The only thing I'd make a comment on the staff about is that, like most places, once you're moved in, you don't have any communication with them anymore unless you need to go in the office for something. Recently, I overlooked the dates and was late on my rent payment. It was the 4th of May and I received, VERY early in the morning, a very threatening message from Devon, one of the leasing agents that if I didn't make my payment in the next day, they would get all sorts of attorneys after me, and the whole schpeel. Didn't think that was necessary! I also have to make a comment on the parking. Visitor Parking spaces are always full. There aren't enough visitor parking spots that many times, people are circling the entire complex. Many tenants use the visitor spots instead of their own spaces, too, since it's closer to their apartment, can you blame them? Also, the groundskeepers need to do a better job at upkeeping. The landscaping is not up to par and you can see bits of trash here and there as you're walking around. As far as the apartment itself, I like the idea of the 2 master suites with 2 full baths in each. It's very private. The only complaint I have about the unit is that there isn't any storage room except for each rooms walk-in closets. There isn't a coat closet or linen closet.
