Apartment Reviews for Swiss Village - San Diego

Who ever the Property owner is for Swiss Village must not have any clue what a joke the people who are managing this apartment complex are!! They are totally inexperienced,unprofessional and slow to respond to any problem. Think twice before renting here.

My husband and I have been at SVP since 2005 and I have absolutely no complaints. I live in a 1000 SF 2 bed/ 2 bath apt on the second floor with a gorgeous view of the hills and the pool, and we have plenty of parking for $1300 per month and it's in the best place to live in San Diego! That is a steal, people!!! Sure, the hallways resemble a crackhouse and they keep changing the staff, but if you are nice to them they will bend over backwards for you in a heartbeat. They just redid the laundryroom and there are all new washing machines and dryers. When my dishwasher broke I had a new one within a week. Maybe that's too long for some to wait...

my roomate and i lived here from jan-sep 2006, and didn't have any major problems at all. the units are older, and the tongue-and-groove wallboarding is cheesy, but parking is good, and the place was clean enough. when we got deployed (military) management was really good about letting us cancel our lease early with no fees or anything. i apparently the new management company is much better than the previous, but this place was never overly noisy, and i never had a single problem the entire time i was there. i'd live there again. very safe place, too. no security but it's gated and fenced- i left my crotch rocket parked unsupervised for 4 months and it didn't get stolen or tampered with... <P>

Great location. The building is older but rent isn't bad compared to nearby apts & the amt of apt space. There is a pool, and feels like there's plenty of space. Only complaint is the paper thin walls. I can listen to my neighbors' tv's programs next door. I know my next door neighbor has AOL because I have be awaken in the middle of the night by
