Apartment Review for 1645 Folsom St

We were not shown our apartment before we signed the lease, only the manager's. Ours was in bad repair, but we didn't notice all of the problems until after the grace period. The neighborhood is loud and ugly, although there are a lot of great restaurants nearby. The walk to BART is unpleasant. The apartment traps heat, the smoke alarm goes off everytime we cook and the couple above yells all day. Parking is a nightmare and no garages in the area do overnight parking. Don't bring any car worth having around here - it will get broken into. As a bonus - the apartments are tiny! <P>
