The owners of this building are the worst landlords I have ever had, and I have been a tenant here for more than 30 years. They do not appreciate having good tenants, so I would not recommend them to anyone who is honest, hardworking and responsible, because you will regret getting involved with them. It was almost impossible to get them to fix anything, and this is an old 1920's era building that needed constant maintenance. They raised the rent every year, yet the building was in worse condition every year, and if you wanted anything fixed, you had to pay for it yourself. Basically it was an overpriced dump with broken down appliances (which you will have to replace at your own expense), cut up floors, bad plumbing, bad wiring, leaky windows, no secure mail box, locks that didn't work, security gate that didn't close, etc. Not worth the money or the hassles, but the owners act like they are doing YOU a huge favor by renting it to you. Then they try to steal your deposit when you move out, even if you left the place in better condition than it was when you moved in. Run the other way is my advice!
