Review Title:   Residents Thoughts:Poor Management, Always Noisy,

My advice to you is very simple: do not live here. Look elsewhere. There is no parking and although they offer garage spaces for rent the garages are terribly inconvenient to your home and are broken into quite often.

The noise level is consistently high and often unbearable. Car alarms (at least 2-3 times a day), garbage trucks once a day, street traffic all the time, leaf blowers and lawn mowers from 8am to 3pm most days, loud music from the young college aged neighbors who also walk the streets in large groups screaming, singing, yelling, partying, littering and damaging property into the wee hours of the night (worknights and weekends), gun shots from the shooting range across the lake can be heard starting at 8am on Saturday and Sunday, and frequent sirens from the nearby fire house. Yes, they have double paned windows but this does nothing to help the noise problem.

Maintenance and management are a shame. It take several calls just to get a response and even then they typically won't resolve your issues for many days. My boyfriend lives in another of the buildings and he went for weeks without power in his living room and kitchen because they wouldn't fix a fuse. My radiator spontaneously turned on pumping out tons of heat even though it was in the off position. Even wearing shorts and a tank top with all the windows open, I was still sweating profusely and when I asked them to come fix it they said they couldn't for a few days and that I just needed to deal with that. I had another issue with an agreement they made with me, but didn't follow through on. It took them THREE MONTHS to resolve it.

Management treats the maitenance staff like crap and I'm thinking this is probably why they don't respond in a timely manner. Management itself is just inadequate.

All the apartments and townhomes have mold everywhere. Many areas are in severe disrepair.

Management has changed hands several times in very few years and instead of investing in the homes they spent all this money on the main office which is just for show. Don't buy into it.

The grounds look sort of nice, but they over water them and the grass is always soft, soggy, and muddy and you can't walk on it without your shoes sinking in and getting filthy. Many of the trees are sick and not taken care of.

Laundry is a miserable experience. There aren't enough for the building and the other residents could care less that other people need to use them and frequently all the machines are taken. You've really got to fight and wait to get anything done.

The "security" door to the building is often left open and broken.

Lots of vandalism and trash from the college kids.

So unless you have a masochistic streak, just stay away. You will not find peaceful living here. Only a big pain in the ass inconvenience day in and day out.
