The noise is the biggest problem here. Drunk college kids screaming under you bedroom window at 4am; crowds of loud teenagers roaming the streets in search of a party - that is a typical weekend night at Parkmerced. It was not a problem ten years ago - at that time the owners of the comlex used zoning approach - students were allowed in the section of the complex adjacent to SFSU. If not for noise, it would be a reasonable place to live: average services, limited parking, but low crime and very convenient location.
