I lived here for 15 years, went to college and then worked while living here.
I recently moved out, NOT because I wanted to, but because I had to. I will miss it! Post Street Towers gets my STRONG recommendation for the following reasons:
1) Excellent location. You can walk to any place in San Francisco from here, or easily catch public transit. Just blocks away from BART.
2) Apartment manager and staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. All requests and inquiries are addressed and resolved right away.
3) They will collect large packages and boxes and sign for them for you. This makes ordering things online SO much easier.(Most other places I have lived will NOT do this). This alone makes living here very convenient for a busy student or worker.
4) 24-hour desk concierge keeps the place safe from intruders at night, and always there to help you with anything you need after the office closes. This place is very, VERY safe! Not only is there a desk guard at all times and front lobby door automatic lock, but then each room has a door lock and deadbolt too.
5) They have recently remodeled the place. Everything is brand new! New staff has been added and they are all very courteous and professional. They were still remodeling and rebuilding when I moved out but I could see where they were going with it. I wish I could have stayed and I hope to move back soon.
Your rent includes free access to their gym, with plenty of weights and exercise equipment, it includes a cyberlounge with internet connection, and it looked like they had built a media lounge as well.
I come from a family of apartment renters and I have heard some horror stories. I've seen the best of the best and the worst of the worst. Post Street is the best of the best. Strongly recommended!

After two months at Post Street Towers, I am pleasantly surprised. I rented one of the renovated studios and they did a superb job modernizing the unit. For the most part, the building is well-maintained. It is only on Sunday when it gets a little messy in the common area as a result of sloppy tenants who throw trash on the ground over the weekend. During the week, the maintenance crews are there and do a great job picking up after tenants. The hallway to my apartment is always clean. The noise levels are low. I rarely hear my neighbors. I think it's a good value for the location. Plus they have coffee prepared every morning, which is great for when you are in a rush.

I have only lived here a few months, but I like it. The building is nice and the courtyards are pretty large. Parking sux, but hey, I am living in the city. Anyhow, I will probably be here awhile.
