This apartment complex looks beautiful from the outside, but unfortunately looks can be very deceiving. If you want peace and quiet, this is NOT the place to live. The buildings are made of such cheap material that you are guaranteed to hear your neighbors - from upstairs, downstairs, and to left and right of you. I have been disturbed by music and TV from the inconsiderate neighbors who live below me as well as the ones next to my bedroom, and this is after 11:30 pm.
As for tenants dealing drugs, I hope the last critic who wrote about this is wrong. However, the complex is so huge that it is very hard to know who is coming and going, so I won't be surprised if there are shady characters around. I don't feel secure at all when I'm in the complex. Also, be aware that management has set aside units for low-income residents, and there are also tons of college students here (San Jose State U is across the street), so if you're looking for an upscale, professional place, this is far from it.
I must say that I have always had a good relationship with management. They've always been very friendly and very responsive to my requests. Maintenance, however, is sometimes on the ball and sometimes not.
Overall, I have not enjoyed living here. For the huge amount of rent that they charge, it's not worth it.
