Creek Side Apts is an old place. Recently another Property Group took over and they have consistently been bumping up the rent. Just as if putting in a few fountains will make a heck of a difference. Even though this complex is bound by rent control, they found a way around it and are now charging tenants separately for water and garbage.
There is hardly any parking inside the complex nor on the streets in the area as there are many complexes on Stokes. Whats even worse is that the parking lot at Creek Side floods with the slightest amount of rain (go figure!). Furthermore, I dont know whether it is the pipes in this place or just incompetent plumbers, but the water gets shut off at least twice a month for a full day (no kidding!).
The person who recently took over the management is completely anal about keeping any kind of stuff on the patios, toys, shoes, pots, bikes. Whats even worse is that when you inquire about it when you consider moving in, she tells you its ok, only to later on make a 180æ and force you to empty the place. The woodwork on the patio is completely molded and rotten. The painting inside the apt is done poorly. Foot walks are uneven and my child has fallen and hurt himself several times already.
No, this place has turned from bad to worse. Luckily my rent is up in August and Im moving out of here. You better think twice before moving to this place. Looks deceive. Maria
