Review Title:   Management Sucks, But Place Is Nice
Reviewer:   Anonymous
Review Date:   8/21/2005

We had a hard time getting a room here because of management -- they kept switching rooms, availability, and prices on us. Right before we were about to look for another place, we settled on our current apartment.

Our leasing agent who was a total moron and the reason of the hassle moving in, is finally gone. In fact, she left about the same time we moved in. All the others are okay, pretty helpful, but it still seems there are places where management gets confused among themselves.

We filled out a walk-through report before we moved in, and noticed that things are quite crooked (but only if you REALLY look hard). Our bathroom wall is crooked, the countertops aren't level, and there is slight water damage. It seems they built this place in the dark.

However, even thought there are little things wrong with the place, from a glance, it's gorgeous. If you don't notice the little things, you'll love the apartment units. I don't know what other people are saying about the walls -- I rarely hear my neighbors. In fact, in the 3 months I've lived here, I think I've only heard my neighbors twice. But, I think I do have quiet people living next to me. It gets quite loud with the windows open at night, so be prepared to leave them closed.

If you are moving into this place because it lets you use the clubhouse and pool table, I hope you'll be here while it's open. It's open only during business hours -- basically between 10am and 6pm.

Management is nice in having community functions -- a pool party and dessert night so far. The food is good, but makes you wonder where they get the money from.

Parking is nice, but there are a few blind spots in the garage. If everyone slowed down a little and stayed on their side of the road, it wouldn't be a problem.

We got a great deal on this place, and it's only because of this deal that we're living here (otherwise, it'd be WAY too expensive). Since we don't need to talk to management too often, it's been quite enjoyable here. Just get everything in writing and you'll have no problem.
