Hmmm, where to start... my family has lived here for 6 months, and we have the following complaints:
1. there is a rancid moat of cow manure in front of the apartment that has never been cleaned. It's a health hazard. We've complained repeatedly, seen people fall into it, called everyone we can think of, but nothing has been done.
2. the new landlord (there have been three in six months) decided in all her wisdom to assign us new parking spaces. To inform us, she stapled (yes, *stapled*) a tersely worded note to our door, informing us that we would be towed if we didn't get our new permits by January 17th. The notes were not distributed until the 20th. The next day, I tried to find her to get my new permit, and I saw an angry mob of tenants outside her office, grumbling about the idiocy of retroactively threatening to tow us. We went to her apartment and knocked on the door, and though it was obvious to everyone that she was in there (the TV was on), she chose to hide out instead. It's now the 30th and I still haven't been able to get my permit. I'm afraid to park anywhere, because I don't want to be towed.
3. The utility boxes have been broken open, probably so someone can steal cable, and all the wires are exposed. This greatly reduces the quality of our phone lines, in particular our DSL line. Complained, no response.
4. She claims she has office hours, but is never, ever there.
5. There is mold in our apartment. We have informed them, and they have done nothing. It's really in their own best interest to do something about it, because mold is one of the worst things that can happen to a structure.
6. All repair requests go unfulfilled.
I guess that's about it. The grounds of the apartment itself are very clean. They pay a cleaning company that does everything for them. The neighbors are great too, some very friendly people around us. However, the increasingly incompetent parade of property managers that comes through here makes living here somewhat of a nightmare.
