Apartment Review for Avalon At River Oaks

My place was burgled yesterday. Was out with my family to the urgent care for a couple of hours. Lost laptop, accessories, my wallet and wife's jewellery. Took a hit of $7000. The doors or windows were not pried open. Must have been an inside job. Another burglary at Elan village ( opposite Avalon ) was reported a month back. The management did all the sweet talk and was not helpful. The place is a zillion years old with broken appliances which the management will try to fix again and again and again and again. The San Jose police department are no better. The only good thing is that the apartments are spacious. $1700-$1800 for a year's lease is the rate around this area. They never spoke of renter's insurance when we signed the lease. <P>
