Apartment Review for Enclave

Disgusting place. Incompetent and inept managment. From the lisiting and the intial vists, you may be fooled into thinking that this is a great deal...but you will come to find that the area is UNSAFE...numerous tenants have been victims of crimes such as vehicle-break ins, vandalism, burglaries.. etc. During the summer, fire trucks were coming in and out of the complex nearly every night due to false fire alarms and stink bombs, etc. A lot of lower income familes and their punk kids running around and causing a nuisance. I and my roommate personally have had problems after problems since we've moved in and not ONCE have anyone tried to resolve our situation. I can't understand why mgt would treat their tenants the way they do. They falsely advertise features and then trick you to sign a lease without disclosing all of the details. You would have to read the entire lease with a magnifying glass...DO NOT PUT YOUR FAITH OR TRUST in any of the leasing agents. We made an assumption of a feature that we reasonably believed would be entitled to since it was listed on all of The Enclave's apartment listings as well as their website...only to find out AFTER we signed the lease that they had omitted that standard feature for our unit only. NEVER ONCE disclosing that information to us throughout the leasing process. The management is beyond belief. They kiss your *** when trying to sell the lease and then quickly change once you are a tenant. They are rude, unprofessional, and quite simply worthless. <P>
The apartment was built poorly as you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing..from running their water..to their sleeping habits (ie: snoring). <P>
DO NOT RENT HERE. Their rates are ridiculous and you will be paying high rates for a very UNluxurious apartment. Look for luxury apartments around North San Jose and I guarantee you, you will find apartments worth your money...TRUE luxury apartments. <P>
THE ENCLAVE is filled with lower income tenants and I and many of my neighbors have been a victim of crime while living in this apartment. <P>
