Apartment Reviews for Kimberly Woods Apartments - San Jose

The apartment is newer and in a gated setting close to lightrail. But the manager is unfriendly to tenants' concerns, and staff doesn't respond to maintenance requests. <P>

I've lived here about 2 years. It's not a bad complex. The floor plans are nice, I live in a townhouse, which has a large layout. <P>
The office staff changes often, and they seem to lack a general ability to provide consistent service. <P>
When I moved in, they waited until I was ready to sign to tell me I would have to take a garage, at extra cost, and water and trash are also extra. <P>
The grounds are nice, and I've never felt unsafe with in the complex. Yes the neighborhood is older and not a place I would go for late night walks. The security gates are closed at night, though for several months they did not work, but that seems to have been resolved. <P>
The apartments are mostly quiet, rarely hear the neighbors. The water pipes can be a bit noisy and the toilets clog easily. <P>

What's that other guy smokin? Their experience is NOTHING like mine. Responsive mangement, maintenance is responsive. Everyone is easy to get along with. I think YOU also have to be "easy to get along with" -- it's a two-way street.
